Can someone delete doowopbob's account all he does is give rude and some times obscene reviews for movies I doubt he has seen.

Don't think being rude or obscene violates the Terms of Use for The Internet Archive.

I just ignore his posts. I'm grateful we don't have many internet trolls here.

That's the drawback of free speech. Some people can use it as a tool to be obnoxious. One thing I'm curious about is, after reading his "reviews", if he hates the content so much here at IA, why does he continue to spend so much time here? I'm amazed that I encounter this sort of mindset so often in life. What can you say?

I'm with billbarstad. Don't bother replying or even acknowledging doowopbob. Just like my dog, he must believe that "Any attention is better than no attention at all."

Besides, anyone reading his "reviews" along with the more thoughtful posts will soon realize that he has nothing at all to contribute to the discussion...just noise.

Yeah, let him spout off all he wants. It's not like anything he says means anything anyway.

I agree. The best defense against trolling is to keep the signal-to-noise ratio as high as possible by posting thoughtful, sincere reviews. Pathetic attempts to grab attention are easy to ignore when they're buried by all the interesting, genuine contributions made in good faith.
